These young moms and soon to be mom are working to finish high school and make a life for themselves and their children.

Jazmin
Hi my name is Jazmin and I am 20 years old and pregnant with my first child.  I actually re-enrolled in school last year to come and complete my graduation degree.
I go to school full time and also work fulltime to help with my family's bills.  I found out I was pregnant and am due in March.
I have had a rough pregnancy, but am determined to get through it by myself.
I have struggled my entire life and am bound and determined to graduate, and continue school to get my welding certificate in order to help break the poverty cycle that my family has been in.
I appreciate what you are doing for my and my soon to be baby.  Thank you for making my Christmas better!

I love reading books to her and I recently started to go back to school in person after the pandemic.

It was very hard to leave her, but I knew I needed to continue my education in order to be a good mom for my daughter.

My name is Anna and I am a young mother of a beautiful little girl named Julie.

I appreciate the help that you are willing to give us to help celebrate Christmas.

I had my baby when I was 15 years old, and I actually, had kept it a secret until I gave birth.

It was very scary, but I am so grateful to have her in my life!

I am raising her by myself, going to school full time and working in order to support us.

She is the joy of my life and what I am most proud of!

I am graduating next month and plan on going to the community college in Elgin and work in the health field so I can help others.

Thank you for your generosity.

Sammy And Baby

My name is Sammy and I am 18 years old. I am 3 months pregnant and am due in May 2022.

I have struggled both emotionally and am currently going to school in order to reach my goal of graduating. I have worked my whole life, but once I found out I was pregnant, I needed to quit my factory job due to the environment and the effect it would have on the baby.

Once I found out about this, I started crying, I am not used to having others help me. I can't even think of anything to put on the list because I have always been on my own and am not used to others helping me.

I have been homeless, have lived by myself and have had some addiction problems but am sober and I'm trying to put my life together. I have found God and religion is very important to me.

Thank you for all your help. Even though the pregnancy was unexpected,

I am determined to be the best mother to my baby that I can, and will continue my education to become a veterinarian assistant once I graduate.
